Vinod Nagi – Chief Executive Officer
Vinod founded Cortex Nearshore Solutions in 2005 and has led the company to an annualized growth rate of over 40%. He has also been the driving force to obtain many high-profile clients. Vinod has been in the IT Service and recruiting market for over 15 years. Prior to founding Cortex Nearshore Solutions, he was the Senior Vice President at SagarSoft Inc for four years. Vinod also worked with CGI as a consultant for three years.
Ezdraz Baez – Chief Operations Officer
Ezdraz is a mover and shaker; he has a passion for the entrepreneurship world. He founded two Mexican startups in the Social Gifting and Food Tech industries. Ezdraz has more than 13 years of experience working for global companies such as Oracle, IBM, Tata Consultancy Services, and Softtek.
Ezdraz holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science with Universidad de Guadalajara and a master’s degree in Applied Informatics with ITESO and is a certified PMP with the Project Management Institute.
Lourdes Gonzalez – Director of Business Development
Lourdes has a proven track record managing IT resources, vendors, and client relations. She is result oriented and praised by senior executives as a principal advisor, creative problem solver, and experienced leader. Adept in complex negotiation and contract administration she can forge solid relationships with strategic customers.
With her extensive knowledge, skills, experience in the IT industry and her competitive and innovative spirit Lourdes ensures that each service delivered by Cortex is custom designed to fit our client’s specific needs.
Justin Mabey – Vice President
Justin Mabey has a professional career that includes high tech startups, IT services, mergers & acquisitions, venture capital and real estate. He grew up on a small farm in South Jordan, UT and worked on the farm and in real estate development with his grandfather until the late 1990’s when he founded a technology company. He then worked with other technology companies, in venture capital, and within corporate development at Dell. At Dell, Justin was part of the 5 person mergers & acquisition team and worked on deals ranging in size from $5M to $1B. Previous to Cortex Consulting Services, for the last five years, Justin has been a founder and principal at Ledgestone Group a fund that invested in technology companies and did commercial real estate development in Central Texas.
Justin received his bachelor’s degree at Brigham Young University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. He is married with five children, loves the outdoors, sports and enjoys coaching his children’s soccer and basketball teams.
Ally Martinez – Office Manager
Ally has worked with Cortex for six years. She is Cortex’s Office Manager and oversees all the inner-working details of day-to-day operations for the company. Ally ensures that all deadlines are met, and all required documents and forms are completed, and all correct procedures have been followed. She also oversees the financial operations of the firm. Ally previously worked as an Office Manager in the Real Estate and legal professions. She loves spending time with family and friends, being with her dogs and enjoying all that Austin has to offer.
